While the incident looked like a clear-cut handling error, the replay showed that Galvin did not drop the ball and it was instead raked from his hands by opposing back-rower Kai Pearce-Paul. However, the Bulldogs weren’t able to subsequently challenge it after the time had elapsed to do so.
