ESSEX, England (WKRC) - A truck driver was accused of smuggling almost $10 million worth of cocaine in a shipment of luxury underwear and clothing. According to a press release from the National Crime Agency (NCA), 40-year-old Jakub Jan Konkel was driving a truck from the Netherlands into Essex, England, at the Port of Harwich on September 5, 2025. Authorities x-rayed Konkel's shipment, which was 28 pallets of clothing and underwear from Kim Kardashian's Skims brand, and found nothing amiss with the load itself. However, "the truck had been specially adapted" to hide a compartment in the rear doors that held 90 packages of cocaine, each with roughly a kilogram of the drug.
