In light of the 30th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the Drug Enforcement Association (DEA) New Orleans Field Division shared final results of collections made which shows the Natural State in the lead with 50,240 lbs. of medication recorded.

Spring 2026 Drug Take Back Day results: Arkansas leads four-state region in collections. In light of the 30th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day which took place Saturday, April 25, the Drug Enforcement Association (DEA) New Orleans Field Division shared final results of collections made. Compiled data showed that Arkansas led the division with 50,240 lbs. of medication recorded. Along with the Natural State, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama are also under the division.
