Sood: govt. schools directed to improve learning outcomes

Education Minister Ashish Sood on Saturday said he has held meetings with over 700 principals of Delhi government-run schools over the dip in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 pass percentage and asked them to make quarter-wise action plans to improve learning outcomes and results.

Mr. Sood said though the Class 12 pass percentage has dipped nationally, that shouldn’t be the case in Delhi as there is a lot of focus on education by the government. “We have been focusing so much on education and our resources are better than several other States.
