And now, 15 years after Game of Thrones hit the airwaves, a brand new project is about to let us see exactly how the most devastating decision of its era was made.

The cast of Game of Thrones: The Mad King, the upcoming stage prequel, has just been announced by the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the biggest headline for longtime fans is that The Mad King has now cast new actors as Cersei and Jaime Lannister. Daisy Franks will play Cersei Lannister, while Maxim Ays will play Ser Jaime Lannister, while the play is set around the legendary Tourney at Harrenhal, an event remembered for all the wrong reasons.
