Born in Paris on January 29, 1942, Longet began performing at age 10 in a production of The Turn of the Screw. She later appeared on French television and stages in Milan and Venice before moving to Las Vegas, where she worked as a showgirl at the Tropicana’s Folies Bergère revue. Her career took off after meeting American singer Andy Williams in 1960. The pair married in 1961, had three children, and Longet became a familiar face on The Andy Williams Show.
