Designed by architect José María Tomás Llavador in 2008 as an exemplar of responsible architecture, Actiu's headquarters is the only industrial facility in the world to hold both LEED Platinum certification and WELL Platinum certification. According to Actiu, the building was made possible through the collaboration with Vicent Berbegal, founder and chairman of Actiu, whose sustainability philosophy and understanding of the Mediterranean environment helped shape the project from its inception.
